Women in the Military Should Just Expect to Be Raped, Says Fox News Asshole

In addition calling participants in Occupy Wall Street "ravers who sound like the Unibomber" and asking for what sounded a lot like Barack Obama's assassination, Fox News commentator Liz Trotta can add a dubious new achievement to her resume: person who officially thinks that United State's servicewomen who are raped by their fellow soldiers should've seen it coming. What did they expect?
Okay, after you finish cleaning yourself up from that spit-take Trotta's majestic stupidity just caused you to have, feel free to listen to what she actually says. Women, she explained to Fox News' Eric Shawn, before clarifying, "the feminists," want to be both warriors and victims here. But Trotta's not done! She goes on:

Just a few weeks ago, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta commented on a new Pentagon report on sexual abuse in the military. I think they've actually discovered the difference between men and women! And the sexual abuse report says that there's been, since 2006, a 64% increase in violent sexual assaults. Now, what did they expect? Uh, these people are in close contact. The whole, uh, airing of this issue has never been done by Congress. It's strictly been a question of, uh, pressure from the feminists. And the feminists have also— directed them, really, to spend a lot of money. They had a sexual counselors all over the place, victims advocates, sexual response coordinators....
